Flowers for Change kicked off with a drinks reception and some inspiring talks by organizers Dirk Lorenz (emcee), Betsy Hall, Mike Fiannaca, and Keith Hill. The Florists for Change Facebook group, created less than a month ago, already has over 900 "likes" from florists across the US. The stated mission is to devise innovative ways to help support local florists and reconsider the traditional paradigm for sending/receiving orders.
